How to Decorate a Round Dinner Table

Round dining tables promote a sense of connectivity and union because they symbolize a "full circle" in both dining and conversation. Round tables can also accommodate more guests that their rectangular counterparts while still saving valuable space in your dining room. Don't be afraid to experiment with different arrangements and styles when it comes to decorating your dining table. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    1

Choose a low and wide centerpiece for your round dining table. This piece can be a small flower arrangement or a wide, decorative bowl. The centerpiece should be no taller than a regular wine glass.

    2

Decorate your table with formal place mats instead of a traditional tablecloth if your table is in good shape. You don't want to hide a round table, especially if it is an antique.

    3

Keep the decorating simple, especially if space is a concern. Use single items such as a single flower or pebbles inside of a jar with a single candle to complete the look at your round dining table.
