How to Sell a Pool Table in Minnesota

If you have a pool table in your home in Minnesota, you may need to get rid of it if you are moving or just need to free up some space in the home. You can sell the pool table on your own. Typically the price range you can expect used buyers to be looking for is between $500 and $1000, according to DK Billiards. You can up the price you get by including any accessories that you may have which go with the pool table.

Instructions

    1

Gather up all of the accessories that you intend to sell with the pool table, such as cues, cue stands, billiard balls and chalk.

    2

Measure the length if your pool table. Pool tables can vary in size from six to nine feet in length.

    3

Browse ads in your local newspaper and online, such as Craigslist (see Resources), to see what the going rate is for a pool table like you are selling. This lets you know how much you can price yours at in your ad.

    4

Take photos of your pool table for your ad listing. Place an ad in your local newspaper and online on sites such as Craigslist, Used Pool Tables, American Listed, Festivals and Shows, AZ Billiards and Pro Billiards (see Resources). Ads vary in price, with some being free. In the ad, include a description of the table and the accessories that you plan to sell with it. Let buyers know that they are responsible for moving the table.
