Billiard tables that are installed in a home have a frame, with legs, that is assembled with bolts and screws. Moving this heavy object can be very difficult if it is not first disassembled. Even the component parts of a pool table can be heavy, so you may want to get a friend to help you take yours apart.
Instructions
- 1
Use the staple puller or flathead screwdriver to remove the staples that secure the felt to the pocket straps, under the pockets.
2Use the socket wrench to remove the bolts that secure the side and end rails to the billiard table. Ratchet the nuts on the bolts to the left to loosen and remove them.
3Lift the rails off the billiard table and then pull the pockets off the rails. Slide the rails out to take them off the billiard table.
4Use the staple puller or needle-nose pliers to remove the staples that secure the felt to the underside of the pool table. Pull on the felt to remove it from the slate.
5Use the power drill to remove the screws that secure the pieces of slate to the billiard table frame. There will be one screw in each corner of the slate.
6Lift the slate from the billiard table frame and set it aside. Turn the frame of the billiard table on its side or upside down.
7Use the socket wrench to remove the nuts from the bolts that are used to secure the legs to the frame.
